THERE IS A FINAL FINISHED COVER FOR MY NOVEL!!
Here it is people, you get the first look of my novel (that’s still a *little* away from release, but whatevs)
It has been masterfully illustrated by the wonderful Jade Sarson, a freaking awesome illustrator I went to Uni with and is just phenomenal, especially with her webcomic Cafe Suada. She also goes to a bunch of conventions in England I believe like the London MCM Comic-Con, so if you ever see her…Say hello for me while you’re there :P
You *should* be able to click it for a better look, but hey, here’s the blurb for you:
"It was a dot in an edgeless universe that stretched to infinity. Yet with all that considered, I still wouldn’t want to be anywhere else."
One boring summer in a boring little town, Alexander Taylor makes an attempt to avoid going stir-crazy by taking a walk to the local cinema.
Little does he know that he’ll meet Scarlett Stevenson, an enigmatic redhead that captivates Alex and puts him on an emotional journey that will lead him through science-fiction TV shows, eccentric Swedish performances of Shakespeare, and existential cheeseburgers.
Backwards From Infinity is a coming-of-age tale about friendships, relationships, and reflecting on the idea that not all that glitters is gold.
So yeah, what do you think? :D
A print version is coming soon, and an ebook version coming later after that…I would love it if some of you are interested in it (Because I am a writer and I need to eat :P) because yeah…It’s a funny, clever, emotional book in my opinion…Certainly nails being sixteen and might be a nice British insight into school and such with all your American/Canadian/etc stuff all over the place…
Plus….Doctor Who references.
And Shakespeare references.
And art and history and space and literature and video games and like…everything.
In just over 300 pages.
I think you’d like it.
I might be awesomely biased though :P
